Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson stops at nothing even if the world nearly collapses only to grab a bottle of milk for his daughters, while Rogen and Rudd become rivals to be Samsung's 'next big thing.'
Got Milk? brought smile with its latest ad which was released during the Super Bowl XLVII telecast on Sunday, February 3. Starring Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, the funny trailer sees the muscular actor running out of milk for his daughters' breakfast. He then storms the streets, which is packed with disastrous chain of events, only to get a bottle of milk. He ignores bank robbery, escaping lion and even alien attack on his way to get the milk.
Another funny ad was released by Samsung to promote their "next big thing." The promo features Paul Rudd and Seth Rogen as rivals to win contract as the gadget brand's new ambassador. Repeatedly labelling themselves "the next big thing," the two funnymen offer some crazy ideas for the company's new advertisement. At one point, Rudd suggests that Rogen should wear a diaper and act like a talking baby for Samsung's new spot.
Taco Bell also offers a hilarious spot though it lacks famous faces. It shows a group of old people partying hard in the night and going wild on the streets just like teenagers. Meanwhile, Kaley Cuoco teams up with William Shatner in a spot for Priceline. Cuoco was left with a monk when she was a kid, and after she grows up, Shatner picks her up again only to find that his daughter looks different now since using an easy-use Priceline app on her phone.
Other spots that stole attention during Super Bowl included Best Buy's and Mercedes-Benz's which featured Amy Poehler and Sebastian Beacon respectively. M&Ms released one featuring Naya Rivera, Bud Light had one with Zoe Saldana and Stevie Wonder, while Toyota Super dropped another Cuoco-starring ad.
