The 'I Knew You Were Trouble' singer performs live for fans aboard the Yachts de Paris Mirage cruise in the City of Lights.
Pop/country music superstar Taylor Swift gave a private live concert Monday night, January 27 for fans on board the Yachts de Paris Mirage Cruise on the Seine River, just a couple of days after her recent NRJ Awards performance in Cannes. The "I Knew You Were Trouble" singer was in France primarily for the NRJ Awards, where she performed onstage after walking down the red carpet.
Her performance aboard the French boat was unlike her somewhat awkward number during the NRJ Awards. In contrast to the unfamiliar dance choreography she strutted on Palais de Festivals stage two nights before, Swift was back in familiar territory, clasping her red acoustic guitar, simply dressed in a black ensemble.
Before the intimate live performance, Swift was spotted around the city enjoying some of its best-known sites including the world-famous Eiffel Tower with her friend, actress Hailee Steinfeld. Swift went on a "girls' day out" with the 16-year-old "True Grit" star, while reportedly still mending a broker heart following her short-lived romance with One Direction's Harry Styles.
In between her itinerary in France, Swift managed to squeeze an appearance in Madrid, Spain. Her Europe trip coincided with news that she has just inked an endorsement deal with Diet Coke.
The young superstar, who obviously enjoyed her business trip outside the U.S., gave a quick shout out to her fans following the private gig. "Thank you to all the fans in France and Spain for making this trip so lovely," Swift tweeted. "Headed back to [America] now!"
