Justin Bieber Sold Out by Traitor for $25K in Pot Smoking Picture

The 'Beauty and a Beat' singer 'feels betrayed' that someone used him and his hospitality to get some quick cash.

AceShowbiz - Justin Bieber should be more careful to choose his friends following the leak of pictures capturing his private pot party. Among those so-called friends of his, one traitor has revealed his/her true color by selling him out to the media.

Bieber actually smoked what was believed to be a blunt behind the closed door of his room at Carlyle Hotel on the Upper East Side. He must have felt safe around what he thought was his friends because he was laughing and looked relaxed.

Someone in the crowd, however, discreetly took pictures of their little gathering and sold the photos without his consent. "Justin feels betrayed by someone who sold these pictures for $25,000 who he thought was a friend," a source told NYPost.

Among Bieber's guests that night was Lil Twist. The young rapper is believed by the media to be a bad influence for him, but the Canadian singer was adamant his pal was not the traitor. "We've been good friends for A LONG time," he wrote on Twitter.

"Everyday growing and learning. trying to be better. u get knocked down, u get up," the 18-year-old star tweeted without mentioning the incident. "I see all of u. i hear all of u. i never want to let any of you down. i love u. and..thank u. #beliebers."

Soon after the pot picture emerged, a group of cruel pranksters urged Bieber's fans to self-harm themselves in a mock protest of the photos. He hasn't said a word about the sick campaign hoax, but fellow celebrity Miley Cyrus has.

"#cutforbieber? Cutting is NOT something to joke about," she re-tweeted a message from another Tweep. "There are people who are actually suffering from self-harm, this is so disrespectful."

Last May 2012, Bieber told GQ that he learnt the hard way not to trust people in showbiz. "I keep my guard up a lot," he explained back then. "Because you know, you can't trust anyone in this business. That's what's sad. You can't trust anybody."
