Another week is another new challenge on "Dancing with the Stars: All-Stars". After performing a country-themed dance last week, each of the remaining couples was tasked to perform a fusion dance, which is a dance that incorporates two different styles chosen by their competitors. Later, they also danced together in a swing-dance marathon.

Apolo Anton Ohno and Karina Smirnoff were the first to do the individual number, dancing cha-cha mixed with paso doble. Len Goodman said, "There was nothing safe about this - you came out and really attacked this." Bruno Tonioli called it "triumphant" and "wonderful," as Carrie Ann Inaba also gave positive review. The speedskater got 27 out of 30 points.

Emmitt Smith earned a little more (27.5) than Apolo did with the rumba/samba he danced alongside pro partner Cheryl Burke. "What was challenging about that - and what I really applaud you on - was the going back and forth," Carrie Ann commented. Bruno said, "That was a smooth and balanced blend," while Len admitted he couldn't have done it as good as Emmitt.

Kirstie Alley and Maksim Chmerkovskiy danced a fusion of quickstep and samba. Carrie Ann thought "the quickstep was nice, but I feel like the samba just fell apart." Len, however, still respected her "admirable effort." The actress earned 24 points.

Kelly Monaco and Val Chmerkovskiy stepped out next to dance cha cha/foxtrot. "You captured of the foxtrot with the crispness of the cha-cha-cha," Len said, but noted, "There was a little incident early on in the foxtrot." Bruno got raunchy in his comment, saying, "You've got that booty working overtime!"

Melissa Rycroft earned a nearly perfect score of 29 with the tango/cha-cha she performed with Tony Dovolani. "The tango and cha-cha-cha were beautifully defined," Len gushed. "That's a proper fusion." Carrie Ann enthused, "Tonight, you are a star!"

Shawn Johnson, who got Mark Ballas as her new partner to replace an injured Derek Hough, danced tango mixed with paso doble. Len dubbed it "a firecracker," as Bruno said the performance was "flawless." Carrie Ann was equally amazed and the judges gave the Olympic gymnast 30 points.

For the last individual dance this week, Gilles Marini danced Argentine tango/samba with Peta Murgatroyd. Bruno said, "That's how we do it the South-American way! Great, great present, great command," while Carrie Ann called it "a fantastic fusion." The actor earned 28.5.

All seven pairs showed up once again on the dance floor to perform swing-dance marathon. The judges would eliminate them one by one, with the last one standing getting the highest score.

Kirstie and Maksim were eliminated first and got 4 additional points. Gilles and Peta were next, followed by Apolo and Karina, Emmitt and Cheryl, as well as Shawn and Mark, leaving it between Kelly & Val and Melissa & Tony to fight off for the bonus 10 points. In the end, Melissa won the challenge.

"DWTS" will skip the results show on Tuesday, November 6 due to the presidential election, and won't send home any contestant this week.
