The song, which is described as an 'eerie piano ballad,' is reportedly written by Keys herself with the help of John Legend.
Alicia Keys has just revealed another song off her anticipated fifth album "Girl on Fire". During her live performance at the Lincoln Theater, New York on Tuesday night, October 16, the Grammy-winning singer gave a very special treat to her fans by introducing her new jazzy track "Listen to Your Heart".
"Even in front of so many people, we forget to listen to ourselves," the 31-year-old R&B diva told the crowd at the private gig. "I love that song very much and I just wanted to share it with you tonight." She also announced that the song would indeed be included in her forthcoming LP, which is set to be released Stateside on November 27.
Reportedly co-written by Keys and John Legend, "Listen to Your Heart" is described as an "eerie piano ballad." The song was the fifth track that has been unveiled from Keys' new album after titular song "Girl on Fire", promo single "New Day", sentimental track "Not Even the King" and slow jam "Brand New Me".
