There's no word just yet on when Anne Hathaway is going to tie the knot with fiance Adam Shulman, but there's a scoop on her wedding dress. It's confirmed that she is going to wear a dress designed by Valentino Garavani on the D day.
The famed designer said he "did the dress" when speaking to reporters at the New York City Ballet Fall Gala on Thursday night, September 20. "She's a very good friend of mine," he said of the "Les Miserables" actress. "She's like my daughter!"
Hathaway, 29, and Shulman, 31, began dating in November 2008 after she broke up with Raffaello Follieri. After she confirmed their engagement last fall, Valentino told PEOPLE, "I am so happy for Anne. And I would do my best creation for her." He added, "She's a lovely person. She wears the clothes very, very well. So I would do something special."
The Catwoman of "The Dark Knight Rises" has worn Valentino outfits in some major events before. She wore his creation of a red strapless Haute Couture frock at the 83rd Annual Academy Awards and posed for photographers in a Valentino long-sleeved gown at the New York City Ballet gala.
