Dean insists on proving he and Sam are not demons before sharing a hug and talking about what happened to their buddy Castiel.
There is still more than a week before "Supernatural" returns with its eighth season, but die-hard fans could feast their eyes on the Winchester brothers' reunion scene shared in a new clip. It follows Sam who enters a cabin and gets attacked by Dean, who performs the usual check to make sure his brother is not a demon, a leviathan or a shifter.
After doing the same thing to himself, Dean shares a hug with Sam, who quickly asks what happened to him during the last one year. Dean reveals he was in purgatory with Castiel, but the rebellious angel didn't make it. "I saw enough," so the older Winchester says when his brother asks if he saw Cas die.
"Supernatural" will kick off its season 8 with "We Need to Talk About Kevin" on Wednesday, October 3 at 9 P.M. on The CW. Dean and Sam look for Kevin (guest star Osric Chau) who has managed to escape Crowley's (guest star Mark Sheppard) grasp, but things come to a head quickly when Kevin tells them what it is that Crowley wants.
