Edward Duke Rancic is held lovingly by his beaming mother, Giuliana, while his smiling daddy, Bill, stands next to them.

AceShowbiz - Bill Rancic and Giuliana Rancic share their joy of becoming first-time parents by debuting a first look at their newly-born son. The proud parents grace the cover of Life & Style's newest issue, grinning from ear to ear as she holds their little boy in her arms.
"I had always heard that when you have a baby it completes your life -- and it's true," Giuliana says. "I love my baby, and I love my new role." She continues, "I'd never changed more than a diaper or two in my life. Now it's like the littlest things that make me happy -- happier than I've ever been."
Bill adds, "It's amazing how maternal instincts have taken over, and Giuliana's just supermom. It literally brought tears to my eyes the other day watching her with Duke." About his little boy, the new dad gushes, "Every day he's changing -- it's just remarkable to see. [He's] got Giuliana's dimples!"
The couple names the baby, who was born via surrogate, Edward Duke Rancic. The E! News host explains the story behind the name, "Edward is Bill's late dad's name and my dad's name. It was a way to honor them. And Duke means leader."
Bill and Giuliana have been trying to conceive since the beginning of 2009. She got pregnant in 2010 but suffered a miscarriage when she was nine weeks along. After finding out that she had breast cancer, the couple had egg retrieval and found a surrogate.
"I couldn't believe that all those years of struggling and the tears actually paid off," she shares on Life & Style. "Every shot, every doctor's visit -- in the end, when you're holding your baby in your arms, you forget it all, and it's worth it."
In addition to making his debut on the magazine cover, little Edward Duke gets a Twitter page created for him. Since being introduced by his mom, the profile @DukeRancic has collected 10 thousand followers, and still counting.
Giuliana's friend on "Fashion Police" are all happy for her and her husband. Judge Joan Rivers raves to E! News about the newborn, "He's f***ing adorable." Co-host George Kotsiopoulos sings the same tune before adding, "[I'm] so incredibly happy for Giuliana. They've been working on this for so long, and I'm just so happy for them."
Joan also gushes about Giuliana, "She's going to be an amazing mother. Because she really wants the baby. This is not like an inconvenience or a surprise, this is something she wanted for years and she planned on." Her daughter Melissa Rivers adds, "I can't wait to see her as like the crazy soccer mom. She always makes fun of me, and I know she is going to be absolutely nuts."
