Other guests Katy Perry, One Direction, Emma Watson, Ke$ha and Taylor Swift are all smiles posing for the photographers before 2012 MTV Video Music Awards begins.
All eyes were at Staples Center in Los Angeles on Thursday night, September 6 as a number of celebrities stepped out to help celebrate 2012 MTV Video Music Awards. Among the many who stole attention with their immaculate appearances, Miley Cyrus and Rihanna stood out with their new look.
Miley, who attended the event without her actor fiance Liam Hemsworth, looked a bit like fellow singer Pink. The teen star wore an Emilio Pucci black long dress with a low-cut neckline that she paired with a silver Edie Parker clutch. She arranged her pixie hair in a faux mohawk.
The former "Hannah Montana" actress said she hadn't planned her wedding just yet because she wanted to focus on her new new album just like Liam who's currently busy filming his new movie "Paranoia" in Philadelphia. "I feel married enough," she said. "It's just a piece of paper."
Riri's sleek cropped hairdo also made its red-carpet debut on the 29th annual edition of the VMAs. The Bajan songstress, who's set to kick off the prize-giving event with Calvin Harris and A$AP Rocky, was all smiles as she arrived in style wearing a white backless long dress that accentuated her curves.
Pink's look drew comparison to Miley's due to her short hair which was also arranged in a bouffant do. The mother of one showed off her leg in a Stella McCartney thigh-slit dress, long dangling earrings and black peep-toe. The singer who would also perform was accompanied by her husband Carey Hart.
Another musical guest Taylor Swift showed up in an all-white deep-plunging attire that she paired with strappy heels. Alicia Keys strutted her stuff in an Alexandre Vauthier dress, Gucci shoes, and Lynn Ban & Repossi jewels. Nicki Minaj flaunted her curves in a black lace fitted number with red outlines.
Zoe Saldana, One Direction, Rita Ora, Amber Rose and fiance Wiz Khalifa, Ke$ha, Emma Watson & her "The Perks of Being a Wallflower" co-star Ezra Miller and Katy Perry were spotted posing for photographers outside the venue as well.
