Waka Flocka Flame, born Juaquin Malphurs, just released a video of his latest single "Get Low" which features pop princess Nicki Minaj, singer-songwriter Flo Rida, and "Rack City" rapper Tyga. The video presents a lot of laser lights, and a red, white, and black color scheme, just as Waka announced it to be during an MTV interview earlier.
The video was directed by Benny Boom, the same music video director who worked with the likes of Ciara, R. Kelly, Keyshia Cole and The Pussycat Dolls. He is also known for directing 2009's action comedy movie "Next Day Air" that stars Mike Epps and Donald Faison.
The rapper, who gained popularity with his breakthrough track "O Let's Do It", says that the video has a lot of art. He's quoted as saying, "I wanted to bring hip-hop videos back - choreographing and girls dancing in it. There's too [many] naked women dancing in videos scenes to me. I feel like I wanna put the art back into it. I feel like it's my job to put the art and the fun back into the music."
"Get Low" is just one of the tracks in Waka Flocka's album entitled "Triple F Life: Friends, Fans and Family", which has been in stores since June this year. Other songs in the album feature such artists as B.o.B, Plies, Travis Porter and Wooh Da Kid, just to name a few.
