AceShowbiz - Liam Hemsworth gets very romantic in the first trailer of his upcoming drama "Love and Honor". The Gale Hawthorne of "The Hunger Games" is featured as a young soldier who is crazily in love with a lovely girl played by Teresa Palmer. The two can be seen in some romantic scenes, including the one that sees them making out near a lake.

"Love and Honor" comes from the directing hand of first-time filmmaker Danny Mooney. The romantic drama is said to be in the vein of Ryan Gosling's "The Notebook" and Zac Efron's "The Lucky One". It is based on a true story about two Michigan soldiers who participated in the Vietnam War.

Hemsworth plays Mickey Wright, who has a best friend called Dalton Joiner (Austin Stowell). When Joiner gets dumped by his hometown girlfriend Jane (Aimee Teegarden), he vows to sneak home during war to win her back. Wright, never one to miss out on a wild time, decides to go with his best pal.

The two young soldiers must get back to America, get their girlfriends and return to the war without getting caught. These best friends end up learning the true meaning of love, honor and commitment.

The drama still hasn't got a U.S. release date.
