The titular character depicter in 'Mrs. Doubtfire' is in talks to star in a workplace comedy written by Emmy-winning writer David E. Kelley.

AceShowbiz - Thirty years after "Mork & Mindy" launched him to stardom, Robin Williams is preparing his TV comeback. The 61-year-old comedian is reported to be in discussions to team up with writer David E. Kelley for a new sitcom called "The Crazy Ones".

CBS is reportedly interested in the project that will have Williams starring. The single-camera workplace comedy centers on the Academy Award-winning actor's character, a brilliant ad executive, who works with her daughter. The two then begin to question their lives.

Kelley ("The Practice") will provide the script in addition to serving as the executive producer alongside Bill D'Elia ("Ally McBeal"). The project will mark Kelley's return to half-hour format since he shepherded "Doogie Howser, M.D." on ABC from 1989 to early 1990s.

Williams' latest regular role was in "Mork & Mindy" which ended in 1982. He has since landed a slew of guest roles, most recently on "Wilfred" and "Louie". As for his big-screen projects, he will next be seen in "The Big Wedding" and "The Butler".
