Alicia Keys Releases 'Girl on Fire' Cover Art, Announces Release Date


The 'No One' hitmaker opts for a simple, yet elegant artwork and sets November 27 as a release date for the new album.

The front page of Alicia Keys's new CD "Girl on Fire" has been revealed. The artwork sees her putting her hands on her hips while looking straight to the camera. "Just chose the album art for my new album #girlonfire!!! Coming at you 11/27!!! R u excited?! I AM!!! ;-)," she tweets.

At the same time, Alicia announces that the new album is going to be released across the United States on November 27. It will be preceded by the live debut of her first single, the title track, at the 2012 MTV Video Music Awards on September 6.

"I have arrived at a place in myself that I am comfortable being exactly who I am in this moment and sharing it with no reservations," she gushes of her new work. She also once said, "It's a new me, I gave it my all: powerful, soulful, honesty and heart... With Girl on Fire."
