AceShowbiz - ABC has finally found Regis Philbin's replacement for "Live! with Kelly". Though so, the network still keeps the identity of the new full-time co-host a secret and will only unveil him during the show on September 4.
Kelly Ripa and whoever chosen as her new partner will welcome Claire Danes and Phillip Phillips as guests on their first day hosting the show together. A day before, on September 3, Ripa will appear solo for the season premiere, marking the first time she'll lead the morning talk show alone.
The only hint given so far is that the new permanent co-host is one of the guys who have guest hosted "Live!". At one point, Seth Meyers was rumored to be the frontrunner for the position, but the comedian himself denied it. "No, no, no, no, no," the "Saturday Night Live" head writer said when asked if he would take the job.
