Their unlikely friendship has reportedly blossomed to a professional offer for Lohan to star in one of GaGa's upcoming music video.
Lindsay Lohan and Lady GaGa's relationship has gone from casual to professional. GaGa has reportedly hired the "Mean Girls" actress to appear in a music video for a song in her upcoming album.
Lohan and GaGa were first known to share the same scene last month when GaGa posted a photo of them hanging out at the Chateau Marmont. They also exchanged tweets after the slumber party. NY Post quoted a source as saying, "Lady GaGa and Lindsay caused a stir last month when they had their 'sleepover' at the Chateau and now it turns out that Lindsay will be starring in GaGa's new video from her upcoming album."
One observer asked why a "huge artist" like GaGa would choose "someone currently at the bottom of the Hollywood food chain". Lohan is known to have attempted to revive her career by portraying Elizabeth Taylor in Lifetime's "Liz & Dick", but "Due to GaGa's superstar status, this would be Lindsay's biggest [role] by far in many, many years," a source said.
No rep from either GaGa or Lohan has given a comment on the report. A source close to GaGa said, "Lady GaGa's not shooting a music video at this time."
