Natalie and Benjamin exchanged wedding vows in an outdoor ceremony and danced in circle with their guests afterwards.
A series of pictures capturing the nuptials of Natalie Portman and her dancer fiance Benjamin Millepied have come out. She was beaming in her white Rodarte tea-length gown with long sleeves, and he looked equally happy in a suit. She completed her look with a floral headdress, while he wore a yarmulke.
Natalie, 31, and Benjamin, 35, tied the knot under the star on Saturday evening, August 3 in a secluded area in Big Sur, California. Grinning from ear to ear, they were wrapped in a Tallit prayer shawl and were surrounded by family members and close friends during the intimate nuptials.
After the ceremony, the couple danced in circle with their guests of around 60 people including Diane Sawyer and her director husband Mike Nichols, Ivanka Trump, Macaulay Culkin and Rashida Jones. The DJ reportedly played hip-hop music until 2.30 A.M.
"The beauty of the weekend was that it was kept a secret, and everyone was relaxed and had a great time because of it," a source told E! News. One of the guests, Ivanka, posted on Twitter an Instagram picture of her sitting outdoor by a fireplace in Big Sur.
Natalie and Benjamin met on the set of "Black Swan" in which he was a choreographer and landed a minor role while she was the leading lady. They announced their engagement and her pregnancy in December 2010. Their son Aleph was born in June 2011.
