Sinqua Walls will play the member of King Arthur's Round Table on the ABC fantasy drama, while Alice Evans is cast as a powerful Royal with a connection to Captain Renard on the NBC procedural series.
"Once Upon a Time" has added another actor to its cast ensemble of its sophomore season. This time, the show casts Sinqua Walls in a recurring role of Sir Lancelot, who is onetime proud member of King Arthur's Round Table.
Slated to appear in at least two episodes, the character will be introduced as a "sword for hire with nothing to lose," so TVLine reports. Although he once had such prideful position, he has since been banished and been separated from his true love.
Almost at the same time, casting news comes from another fantasy series "Grimm". The procedural drama taps Alice Evans to portray a powerful Royal, who comes to Portland to see Captain Renard in the sixth episode of season 2.
According to Entertainment Weekly, Mia and Renard have had an "ongoing relationship" for many years. Despite the fact that he's happy to see her, Renard suspects there's ulterior motive for her visit aside of the reason he's led to believe.
"Grimm" season 2 will kick off Monday, August 13 at 8 P.M. on NBC, while ABC has yet to announce the premiere dates of its shows, including "Once Upon a Time". Prior to casting Walls as Lancelot, the Jennifer Morrison-starrer has chosen Jamie Chung and Sarah Bolger to star as Mulan and Princess Aurora respectively.
Sinqua Walls has recurred on MTV's "Teen Wolf" as Boyd, a member of Derek's pack. As for Alice Evans, she joined the cast of "The Vampire Diaries" in season 3 as Klaus' mother Esther, who is also the Original Witch.
