The Cersei Lannister on the HBO TV drama cites irreconcilable differences and asks for a joint legal and physical custody of her son.
Lena Headey, who plays Cersei Lannister on HBO's popular series "Game of Thrones", decided to end her marriage to her husband of more than five years, Peter Loughran. She submitted her divorce papers on July 20, according to PEOPLE.
In her filing in L.A. Superior County Court, the Sarah Connor of "Terminator" TV series revealed she and her musician husband have split since 2011. The brunette beauty cited irreconcilable differences as the reason of the separation.
Headey, 38, and Loughran got married in May 2007, and welcomed their first child together in March 2010. The actress is seeking a joint legal and physical custody of their son, 2-year-old Wylie Loughran. Before marrying Loughran, she was once engaged to Johnny Cicco and dated actor Jason Flemyng.
