Iconic band Aerosmith have released the video for 'Legendary Child', the first single from their upcoming album.
Steven Tyler and his Aerosmith bandmates are back on screen with a video for their single "Legendary Child". The movie-themed music video is the band's first in eight years.
A narrator with a big, booming voice starts the video by announcing that "This is the story of America's greatest rock band." He then begins to mention the band's struggles which include "divorce, drug addiction, stalkers," and even "bad sushi, shark attacks" among other real, fictional, and downright ridiculous problems.
Finally the narrator says, "This is the story. A story of Aerosmith. Done by girls on rollerskates" as Alexa Vega appears on screen. The "Spy Kids" actress is carrying a small black box that looks like a miniature coffin as she skates to get away from other rollerskating chicks.
The band's appearance in the video shows them playing in a warehouse, cutting away to the rollerskate chase scenes every now and then. Steve sings while carrying a mic stand decorated with his trademark scarves as the rest of the band perform with him in front of a wall of lights.
Aerosmith have not had an entry on the Mainstream Rock chart since 2006 until "Legendary Child" debuted at No. 32. It is the first single from the band's 15th studio album "Music From Another Dimension", the band's first in nearly a decade. The album drops on November 6 in the United States.
