Sigourney Weaver Spars With Carla Gugino in 'Political Animals' New Trailer
Weaver's Elaine Barrish sarcastically asks Gugino's Susan Berg how it feels to launch her career by ruining another person's marriage.

A new trailer for USA Network's upcoming miniseries "Political Animals" has landed online. It highlights more drama in the private life of political figures. While those issues could be useful for a journalist like Carla Gugino's Susan Berg, it could also be a weapon to take down such disgraceful politician as Ciaran Hinds' Bud Hammond, who is also a former President of the United States.

Sigourney Weaver plays Elaine Barrish, the ex-wife of Hammond. In the sneak-peek video, she appears to be annoyed by Berg, who launched her career by uncovering Hammond's affair. Now, Berg is pressing Barrish to reveal whether or not she's going to run for the White House.

Created by Greg Berlanti and Laurence Mark, "Political Animals" will premiere Sunday, July 15 at 10 P.M. on USA. The six-part drama has James Wolk and Sebastian Stan supporting the cast ensemble as Bud and Barrish's sons, Douglas and T.J., respectively.
