Katy dons a red velvet gown, Selena rocks a pink mini dress, and Carly wears a blue asymmetric frock for the special screening event at the Grauman's Chinese Theatre.
"Katy Perry: Part of Me" got a star-studded premiere in Hollywood on Tuesday, June 26. Becoming the belle of the ball during the event was none other than the documentary film's leading lady, Katy Perry. The pop sensation stole attention with her elegant look while stepping on the pink carpet that rolled outside the Grauman's Chinese Theatre.
Sporting wavy purple hair, the "Firework" hitmaker looked stunning in a knee-length red velvet tube gown that she paired with matching pumps. She kept her gorgeous look simple but classy by not wearing too many accessories. To finish off her look, the songstress sported sparkling red manicures and brought a strawberry shortcake-shaped miniaudiere.
For the special screening event, Katy brought along her beloved grandmother Mary Perry Hudson. The elderly Hudson donned a chic pastel-colored outfit and silver flat shoes, and was aided by a glittery cane when walking on the pink carpet.
The premiere was also attended by a number of nowadays famous popstars, including Selena Gomez and Carly Rae Jepsen. Sporting ombre locks, Selena looked dazzling in a pink mini dress by Emilio Pucci that she paired with silver Jimmy Choo sandal heels. Carly, meanwhile, brought more colors to the pink carpet with a blue asymmetric dress and neon yellow pumps.
Other celebrity guests spotted at the event were Yvonne Strahovski who kept it simple in a white tight dress, Caroline D'Amore who glammed up in a long-sleeved black sequined dress, as well as Shannon Woodward who opted to go with a pink low-cut frock.
"Katy Perry: Part of Me" is designed as a concert-documentary movie hybrid. It aims to show Katy's life on and off the stage as well as gives a fan's perspective on the popstar. Serving as the directors are Magical Elves (Dan Cutforth and Jane Lipsitz), who produced Justin Bieber's concert movie "Justin Bieber: Never Say Never".
Katy's 3D film is due to open wide in the U.S. on July 5.
