The rapper and the driver of his SUV were taken to a nearby hospital after their car got rear-ended on LIE.
A Mack Truck rear-ended 50 Cent's SUV on the Long Island Expressway on Tuesday, June 26 morning and sent him to hospital. A series of photos of the rapper being carried to New York Hospital Queens on a stretcher were released by his website ThisIs50.com.
Apparently 50 was not seriously injured for a representative announced later that day, "Curtis '50 Cent' Jackson was involved in a car accident in New York early Tuesday morning. He was taken to New York Hospital Queens where he was treated for minor neck and back injuries. He was released this morning and is doing fine."
According to the Mack Truck driver, the accident happened because his load shifted and he lost control of the vehicle. The bullet-proof SUV, which carried 50 and his driver Bruce Miller, almost flipped over. Miller was also injured in the accident and has been released from hospital.
