The Serena van der Woodsen of 'Gossip Girl' will premiere a short movie filmed for the new perfume at the upcoming Venice Film Festival.

AceShowbiz - Blake Lively has been named a spokesmodel to front the campaign of Gucci's upcoming female perfume, Premiere. She will appear in a short movie directed by "Drive" helmer Nicolas Winding Refn, and pose for print commercials shot by famed photographers Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott.

"In conceiving this fragrance I was inspired by timeless Hollywood glamor and the iconic leading ladies of Hollywood's golden era," said Gucci creative director Frida Giannini. "Blake's unique style and charisma brings that allure to life in a very contemporary way."

The "Green Lantern" leading lady herself chimed in, "It is a pleasure to collaborate with Frida." The 24-year-old girlfriend of Ryan Reynolds added, "I admire the qualities of the Gucci Premiere woman and feel honored to represent the fragrance."

Lively joins the likes of Evan Rachel Wood, Chris Evans and James Franco, who are all faces of various Gucci scents. Her movie commercial will premiere at the Venice Film Festival on September 1.

Premiere itself is inspired by Gucci's couture line of the same name. The scent evokes the glamor and excitement of a red carpet moment.
