Justin Bieber cheered the hysterical audience with his energetic performance at the 2012 MuchMusic Video Awards on Sunday, June 17. Rocking a studded red vest paired with matching pants and a white shirt, the Biebs delivered his latest song "All Around the World" and hit single "Boyfriend".
Accompanied by several backup dancers, the 18-year-old pop sensation managed to show his powerful vocal chops while performing some elaborate dance moves. "MMVAs, you know I've been all around the world, but now I'm finally home!" so he shouted to the screaming crowd in the middle of his performance.
Bieber took home the awards for Favorite International Video of the Year by a Canadian and UR Fave Artist. After the show, he took to his Twitter and wrote, "GREAT NIGHT here in CANADA!! Glad to be home. Got to rock the carpet with my lil bro JAXO! He killed it, and then U the Fans showed me so much love! Thank you. These awards were ours tonight. love u and happy to rep u!"
Also taking the stage for a musical performance at the annual Canadian music awards was Bieber's protege Carly Rae Jepsen. Looking sexy in a two-piece number, the "Call Me Maybe" hitmaker joined Flo Rida on the stage to sing his hit single "Wild Ones". During the ceremony, she also became the biggest winner by collecting three kudos, including the Most Streamed Video of the Year prize.
Hosted by LMFAO, this year's MMVAs was additionally made merry by the likes of Katy Perry and Kelly Clarkson. Serving as the presenters were Selena Gomez, Lucy Hale, Cody Simpson, Chord Overstreet and Darren Criss.
