Jessica Sanchez wowed the crowd packed inside the Chesapeake Energy Arena with her powerful rendition of National Anthem. She performed "The Star-Spangled Banner" before game one of the NBA finals between the Miami Heat and Oklahoma City Thunder.
Before the show, the runner-up of "American Idol" season 11 was asked by one of her Twitter followers whom she was rooting for. She replied, "im all about thunder tonight! ;)"
Indeed, the Thunder won over the Heat with a score of 105 to 94 at the game which took place Tuesday night, June 12. Teaming up with Russell Westbrook, Kevin Durant took over the game and outscored LeBron James' team in the second half. The crowd chanted "MVP" as Durant sealed the win with two foul shots in the final 12 seconds.
