AceShowbiz - Katy Perry unveils a fairytale-styled sneak peek of her upcoming "Wide Awake" music video. It begins by featuring a "Secret Garden"-esque setting, before showing a little girl finding an old, dusty book on a table covered by overgrown plants. As the girl opens the pages of the book, she sees various different chapters that feature glimpses at Katy's previous music videos.
When it comes to the "Final Chapter", the little girl sees pictures of Katy as a fairytale princess. The songstress picks a poisoned strawberry in one scene, and Prince Charming crosses his fingers in another. The sneak peek ends with the little girl discovering her face in the book.
The full version of "Wide Awake" music video, which is dubbed "The Final Chapter From Teenage Dream: The Complete Confection", will be premiered on MTV on June 19. The single itself was written by Katy along with Bonnie McKee, Dr. Luke, Max Martin as well as Henry Walter, and was produced by Dr. Luke and Cirkut.
