The brand new footage from "The Dark Knight Rises" which was unveiled during the 2012 MTV Movie Awards has made its way out onto the web. The clip was jam-packed with tons of new materials, including Catwoman's interview with John Blake, as well as Batman's intense fight with Bane.

The footage itself was presented by Christian Bale, Gary Oldman and Joseph Gordon-Levitt at the annual prize-giving event. Upon introducing the footage, Oldman said, "Mankind needs heroes. And sometimes the legend of a hero is more important than a hero himself."

Gordon-Levitt added, "Even though this legend will resonate forever, this summer will come to an end." Bale continued, "In 'The Dark Knight', Batman confronted chaos that for the good of the city he must be hunted. In order to fully understand this saga, let's return to where this journey began."

Directed by Christopher Nolan, "The Dark Knight Rises" is slated for a July 20 release in theaters across the United States. In addition to Bale, Oldman and Gordon-Levitt, the highly anticipated DC Comics superhero movie stars Anne Hathaway, Tom Hardy and Marion Cotillard.
