AceShowbiz - The 21st Annual MTV Movie Awards kicked off with high energy and enthusiasm. Wearing a white suit with a black lapel and bowtie, Fun. opened the show by delivering their hit single "We Are Young" amidst the hand clapping by audience inside the Gibson Amphitheatre.
Nate Ruess and his bandmates were joined by Janelle Monae halfway through the performance. She rocked her signature tux and pompadour. At one point, Kristen Stewart and Emma Watson were caught on camera dancing to the music.
The awards show was hosted by Russell Brand. It additionally featured live performances by The Black Keys and Wiz Khalifa with Martin Solveig as a DJ host. Johnny Depp, who received Generation Award from Aerosmith, made a surprise appearance during the Black Keys set.
