Kathy quit smoking 12 years ago and has spent the last decade trying to erase the stigma of lung cancer and advocate for all patients. She was the first celebrity to announce her illness to the world in an effort to educate the public that lung cancer does not discriminate. May her message continue. Sleep in peace my friend.
