The music video, which is made in support of the 'Please Don't Go' singer's new song from 'This Is How I Feel', is shot in Atlanta with director Juwan Lee serving behind the lens.
Tank has given his new single, "Compliments", a music video treatment. The "Emergency" singer enlisted the help of Hip-Hop star T.I. for and injected the feminine touch of Kris Stephens into the Juwan Lee-directed clip, which was shot in Atlanta and sees him singing about killing the ladies with flattery.
The 36-year-old talked about how the song off his latest album, "This Is How I Feel", came about in a previous interview with The Huffington Post. Revealing that it "was done a while ago", he went on to share, "I wanted to make a great R&B song on top of a track that Rick Ross would've probably rapped over."
"We did the original version with just me and my artist, Kris Stephens and then we were like, 'Ok, now that it's buzzing out there and people are loving it let's make it an official single,' " he recalled, "and I was like, 'If we're going to do that, let's just make it an event and throw the Kang [T.I.] on there and let's just get out of here!' And we moved forward, called the big homie, got him on there and the rest is sexy history."
Tank's "This Is How I Feel" itself has entered the U.S. Billboard 200 album chart at No. 9.
