The New England Patriots quarterback got a store employee's attention with his non-existent accent instead of his reputation as famous athlete.
Tom Brady showed off a great comedy timing in a new Funny or Die sketch where he plays himself. Titled "Tom Brady's Wicked Accent", the sketch makes fun of the New England Patriots quarterback's accent which is actually not there.
Brady sought the help of a store employee who thought he has nearly indecipherable Boston accent. The employee, played by "Community" star David Neher, did not recognize Brady as a football star although pictures of him were scattered all over the clothing department.
Brady became increasingly impatient and he blew off the steam when three other shoppers approached him because of the accent. When asked whether he wanted some "wah-tah", Brady snapped, "No, you know why? Because I'm not from Boston! I'm from California!"
Brady continued, "I'm a native Californian, I went to Michigan, now I play for New England! I'm the (expletive deleted) quarterback you moron!" He broke the cut-out board of himself and pushed the store employee out of his way as he stormed out of the store.
