"Game of Thrones" is one episode away from its season 2 finale. The medieval series' Sunday, May 27 episode ends with Tywin stopping Cercei from giving her son poison as he announces that the Lannisters have won the battle of the Blackwater. What will happen in the aftermath has since being previewed in a brand new promo.
In the finale episode, King Joffrey rewards his followers while Tyrion Lannister finds himself in a strange situation. As Theon Greyjoy stirs his men to action, Maester Luwin offers some final advice. Meanwhile, Brienne of Tarth silences Jaime, and Jaqen H'ghar presents Arya with a gift. Beyond the Wall, Jon Snow proves himself to Qhorin with his actions.
"Game of Thrones" will wrap up season two with the episode titled "Valar Morghulis". Written by David Benioff and D.B. Weiss, the episode directed by Alan Taylor will air next Sunday, June 3 at 9 P.M. ET/PT on HBO.
