Speculation that the '30 Rock' star might plan to elope with Hilaria Thomas begins to swirl around after the engaged couple allegedly told people that they will stay in Europe post-Cannes.
A second wedding might be around the corner for Alec Baldwin. New York Post's Page Six has brought up the possibility that the "Rock of Ages" actor might have made plans to elope with his yoga instructor fiancee, Hilaria Thomas, after the 65th Cannes Film Festival comes to an end on Sunday, May 27.
One inside source told the gossip column that the engaged couple have "been telling people they'll be spending time in Europe," after Baldwin is done filming his Cannes documentary with director James Toback. "There's speculation they're going to get married," the source added. Another one said that the Hollywood actor has set time "for possible nuptials into post-Cannes work plans in Europe."
54-year-old Baldwin met Thomas in early 2011 while dining with friends at Pure Food and Wine. The "It's Complicated" actor was said to have proposed to the 28-year-old during a trip to the East End of Long Island. His representative confirmed the engagement in April by tweeting, "Alec proposed to Hilaria this weekend and we're all excited for the newly engaged couple."
