CBS Releases 2012-2013 Fall Schedule and First Preview for New Shows

The Eye inserts four new series in its primetime line-up, including 'Sherlock Holmes'-like drama 'Elementary' and comedic 'Partners' from 'Will and Grace' creators.

CBS will pair two of its biggest comedies in the upcoming 2012-2013 TV season. "Two and a Half Men" will air on Thursdays at 8:30 P.M. starting this fall, which means "The Big Bang Theory" will serve as the lead-in.

Taking over "Men" Monday slot is sophomore comedy "2 Broke Girls". Also getting new time slot, "CSI: NY" will air one hour earlier than it did in its latest season, on Friday at 8 P.M., while "The Mentalist" is moved to Sunday after legal drama "The Good Wife".

There are also four newcomers that will air on CBS starting this fall. To air every Thursday at 10 P.M. after "Person of Interest", "Elementary" is described as a modern take on the cases of Sherlock Holmes. It stars Jonny Lee Miller and Lucy Liu.

Period drama "Vegas" will air every Tuesday at 10 P.M. following "NCIS: Los Angeles". It is set in the 1960s and based on the true story of Ralph Lamb (Dennis Quaid), a rodeo cowboy-turned-longtime Sheriff of Las Vegas.

Coming from "Will & Grace" creators, "Partners" is set to air on Monday at 8:30 P.M. after "How I Met Your Mother". It is a comedy centering on a personal story of two lifelong friends and their business partners. David Krumholtz and Michael Urie play the best buddies, with Sophia Bush and Brandon Routh co-starring.
