The singer recreates her infamous dress for the performance of 'Americano' but this time, it is likely made of fake beef.
Lady GaGa still has a thing for meat. The "Born This Way" singer debuted meat dress 2.0 during the performance of "Americano" at her Born This Way Ball concert in Tokyo, Japan.
On Monday, May 14, GaGa tweeted a photo taken by Terry Richardson of her wearing the dress and standing between fake animal carcasses. The new dress is less aggressive than the one she wore at the 2010 MTV Video Music Awards with the corset and bubble skirt style.
GaGa's first dress was made of real beef slabs but this one is most likely fake. The original dress' designer Franc Fernandez recently told Forbes how the infamous dress put his name out there. "The meat dress was the turning point for me. When what we created together got so much attention. Wow, a piece of clothing attracted that much attention, positive and negative, wow that's f***ing crazy."
GaGa is next scheduled to perform in Taipei, Taiwan for two straight nights starting May 17. Her June 3 concert in Jakarta, Indonesia has been canceled due to opposition from Islamic organizations.
