Also confirmed as performers at the upcoming country music awards show are Lady Antebellum, Brad Paisley, Zac Brown Band and Little Big Town.

The first batch of performers for the 11th Annual CMT Music Awards has been revealed. Carrie Underwood and Kenny Chesney are tapped as musical guests along with Lady Antebellum, Brad Paisley, Zac Brown Band and Little Big Town.

2012 CMT Music Awards will air live from Nashville on June 6. Underwood leads the nomination list with five noms including a double nod in the long list of Video of the Year. She gets her other noms in Female Video of the Year, Collaborative Video of the Year and CMT Performance of the Year.

Chesney, meanwhile, receives two nominations and is pitted against the "American Idol" alum in both categories. He is vying for Video of the Year and Collaborative Video of the Year, thanks to his duet with Grace Potter in "You and Tequila".

Folowing Underwood's domination is Miranda Lambert with four. Taylor Swift, along with The Civil Wars, Jason Aldean, Lady A, Rascal Flatts, Blake Shelton and Thompson Square, trail behind her with three.
