Joe Jonas, Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino and Carmen Electra are going to look for love on a TV show. The three stars have signed up to appear in the first season of the recently announced dating show, "The Choice", Entertainment Weekly has learned.
Other eligible bachelors who will go on a date with the girls they meet on the show include Sitch's "Jersey Shore" co-star DJ Pauly D, "American Idol" season 5 winner Taylor Hicks, Kim Kardashian's brother Rob Kardashian, and former "Superman" series actor Dean Cain.
Electra, meanwhile, is joined by former Playboy Playmate Hope Dworaczyk, 2010 Miss USA Rima Fakih, and ex-Bardot star Sophie Monk in the female celebrity department.
FOX's alternative series president Mike Darnell gushed about the show, "It really feels like a hit. It was charming and funny... [The show] works beautifully. It's going to sell all over the world." He additionally dished that the female contestants "took it ridiculously seriously, like they were getting married," while "a couple of the setups really had chemistry."
To be hosted by Cat Deeley, "The Choice" will debut Thursday, June 7 at 9 P.M. ET. Five episodes will have male celebrities with female contestants, while one episode will have female celebrities and male contestants.
