The 'Mr. Wrong' singer performs 'The Star-Spangled Banner' in front of the crowd flooding Churchill Downs in Louisville.

AceShowbiz - Mary J. Blige helped kick off the 138th annual Kentucky Derby at Churchill Downs in Louisville over the weekend. Wearing a one-shoulder red dress with matching hat and gloves, the Grammy-winning singer delivered a rousing rendition of "The Star-Spangled Banner" in front of a large crowd of people.

"I'm just thrilled to be here!" Mary J. said to the press when gracing the red carpet. Of the National Anthem she sang, she said, "It's a song that means a lot to us especially when we do events like this. I'm getting the chills speaking about it."

Other celebrities spotted coming to the annual racetrack included Star Jones, Debra Messing, Tinsley Mortimer, Miranda Lambert, Erin Andrews, Ice T, Andre Agassi, Ashton Kutcher, Boyz II Men's Shawn Stockman and Kellan Lutz.
