AceShowbiz - Weeks away from her due date, Molly Sims celebrated the impending arrival of her first son with a baby shower. The 38-year-old model/actress got together with about 30 of her closest pals at the home of event planner Yifat Oren in the Hollywood Hills for the Saturday, May 5 festivity, Us Weekly reported.
Offering more details of the baby shower, PEOPLE noted that the house was decorated with blue balloons and flowers for the festivity, and the guests, which included Ali Larter, were treated to gourmet food and Bertaud Belieu Rose champagne. Sims herself received a Fresco Loft High chair in black and ivory and a Sweet Slumber Sound Machine among others as presents.
One of the guests spilled that Sims was "smiling the entire time," adding, "It was like she just couldn't believe how lucky she is. She was so thankful everyone was there for her." The insider also revealed that the former "Las Vegas" star's husband, Scott Stuber "joined her at the end of the shower, and Molly was beaming. She showed him all the baby presents and wouldn't stop smiling."
Sims herself revealed that she's looking forward to the baby shower earlier in the week. "My baby shower is right around the corner. I can't wait to have my posse in town. #lovemyfamilyandfriends," so she tweeted. She hasn't made any other comment about the bash since then, but wrote on Sunday, May 6, "True Story: I stuck my feet in the freezer today. Can you say swelling? Oh the joys of pregnancy."
Sims broke news of her first pregnancy through a post on her website on January 10. The "Project Accessory" host revealed at the time that her first child with husband Stuber is "due at the end of June." She later spilled the beans on the sex of her baby when appearing on "The Talk" back in April as she told the show's co-hosts, "We are having a baby boy!"
