Jason Sudeikis spins his red chair after the NFL quarterback announces that he will host the May 5 episode of the variety series with Rihanna as a musical guest.
Jason Sudeikis wants Eli Manning to be on his team for "Saturday Night Live", so he declares in a promo for the show. Appearing in a scene which seemingly pokes fun at NBC's "The Voice", the regular cast member is so impressed by the athlete's introduction as the host of this week's outing that he pushes the button and turns his red chair.
In another clip, the younger brother of Denver Broncos' quarterback Peyton Manning is joined by Kenan Thompson, who boasts about him being a defensive player. New York Giants' quarterback Eli later shows his skill by throwing a ball to Kenan, who screams in pain as it hits his shoulder.
The "SNL" episode featuring Eli will air this Saturday, May 5 at 11:30 P.M. EST on NBC. Rihanna is tapped to serve as a musical guest.
