The women of New York will be part of "The Real L Word" in its upcoming third season. Rock band front woman Kiyomi, rock band rhythm guitarist Somer, and PR/real estate/socialite Amanda, who are all based in the Big Apple, are added to the cast ensemble of the Showtime docu-reality series.
Kiyomi is described as an "ultra-cool, heartbreaking rock star" and a "natural leader," but "extremely stubborn." Her bandmate on Hunter Valentine, Somer, is having troubles trying to live a "normal" life with her new wife. As for Amanda, she is known as "a high-energy jetsetter."
In Los Angeles, Sara and Lauren will join returning stars Whitney, Romi, as well as married couple Cori and Kacy as the main cast members. Sara, who has made guest appearances in the first two seasons, is still in a complicated relationship with untamed lover Whitney. Lauren, meanwhile, is waiting her best friend with benefits, Amanda, to move to L.A.
"The Real L Word" season 3 will premiere Thursday, July 12 at 10 P.M. on showtime. To tide fans over the summer return, the network has debuted a teaser via Entertainment Weekly, which offers a glimpse of the girls in some steamy make-out session.
