The Diddy-Dirty Money founder becomes the wealthiest Hip-Hopper for earning $550 million, while Jigga is the second-richest star with $460 million in his pocket.
P. Diddy earned money more than any other Hip-Hop artists this year so far, according to Forbes. The Bad Boy Records founder leads the pack with a net worth of $550 million, thanks to his growing label and his endeavors outside music like Ciroc Vodka, Sean John and Enyce clothing. By sitting atop the list, Diddy beat strong rival Jay-Z.
Jigga is ranked second as 2012's wealthiest Hip-Hop star by collecting an approximately $460 million. In addition to pocketing a big sum of money from his tour and music, the Roc Nation boss also earns lots of cash from his Rocawear clothing label, lucrative deal with Live Nation and stakes in the New Jersey Nets among other businesses.
Dr. Dre follows at the third place with a whopping $270 million. The "I Need a Doctor" hitmaker doubles his earning than what he collected last year after handset maker HTC bought a 51% stake in Beats Electronics, the headset company he founded with Interscope boss Jimmy Iovine in 2008.
Birdman occupies the fourth position with $125 million, which he earns from his Cash Money Records which produced such big-selling stars as Nicki Minaj, Drake and Lil Wayne. Rounding up the top 5 is 50 Cent with $110 million, which he gets from his tour, record sales and Vitaminwater stakes.
