The 'Major League' actor's portrayal of an unorthodox therapist has got thumbs-up from over 80 percent of people who screened the new sitcom in California's San Fernando Valley last week.

Charlie Sheen once again pokes fun at his troubled past in a new teaser for "Anger Management". Dubbing the Bud Fox of 1987's "Wall Street" an "actor", "icon" and "winner", the promo video features him urging people to welcome him back on TV and watch his new show as he says, "C'mon... Everyone deserves a 24th chance."

In another news, the comedy series has got positive feedbacks after the pilot was previewed in California's San Fernando Valley last week. According to a source, 80 percent of men and women who attended the screening gave thumbs-up for Sheen's performance as an unorthodox therapist.

Based on Adam Sandler's 2003 comedy film of the same name, "Anger Management" follows Sheen's Charlie, a former baseball player who now becomes a therapist specializing in anger management. Selma Blair portrays his therapist who is also envisioned as a love interest for him, while Shawnee Smith plays his ex-wife.

The show will premiere Thursday, June 28 at 9/8c on FX with two back-to-back episodes. Sheen's ex-wife Denise Richards was recently tapped to guest star as the new business partner of Smith's character.
