Kelly Clarkson and The Fray Announce Joint Tour Dates

The 'Stronger (What Doesn't Kill You)' hitmaker and the band fronted by Isaac Slade are going to start the roadshow in July.

Kelly Clarkson has extended her tour to support her latest album "Stronger". The winner of "American Idol" inaugural season will return to the road for another roadshow this summer with The Fray and special guest Carolina Liar.

Kelly, who completed the first leg of her tour on April 14, will kick off the newly-announced dates with the Isaac Slade-fronted band on July 21 in Ridgefield, WA. They will stay on the road until fall and wrap it up on September 15 in Nashville, TN.

"We were kind of doing a radio circuit together and we did a couple together. We got to sing a Christmas song together on stage and we just sounded really good together, so I was like: 'Man, we should tour or something'," she said to Ryan Seacrest. "If you want to see us both together we're going to maybe sing together in the show as well. It will be cool."
