First Sneak Peek at Lea Michele as Dorothy Gale in 'Dorothy of Oz'
Movie

Aside from presenting a behind-the-scene interview with the 'Glee' star, the promo video reveals some of the animated film's scenes, which highlight the magical world of Land of Oz.

AceShowbiz - How Lea Michele will bring Dorothy Gale to life in "Dorothy of Oz" has been uncovered in a first behind-the-scene video of the animated movie. Being debuted via ET, the promo video also offers a sneak peek at some scenes, which highlight the magical atmosphere of a witch world, in the Dan St. Pierre-directed family film.

The video additionally unveils that Broadway veteran Bernadette Peters is included in the voice cast members of the pic. Sharing that she's very happy to work with Bernadette, Lea gushes, "I'm a Broadway baby so I've been a fan of hers since 'Into the Woods'."

The "Glee" star also expresses her excitement in working with another Broadway star Megan Hilty. "I've known Megan for a while. I think it's just so great. And I think it's encouraging also for people who come from theater that they can cross over into the film and TV world," so the actress says.

In "Dorothy of Oz", Dorothy returns to Kansas to find it devastated by the tornado that had whisked her away to the magical Land of Oz. Before Dorothy can even begin to react to or resist this change, she is transported back to Oz by equally magical methods as her first trip.

Oz is in trouble, and the people there need her help: Dorothy's old friends - the Scarecrow, Tin Man and Cowardly Lion - have disappeared and the land is in a state of decay. Dorothy must help this odd group band together against a wicked new villian; a Jester who thinks all of Oz should be under his own control.

Also starring Hugh Dancy, Patrick Stewart, Dan Aykroyd, James Belushi and Kelsey Grammer, "Dorothy of Oz" is ready to hit the U.S. theaters sometime this year.

Sorry, the "Dorothy of Oz" video has been removed as requested by Summertime Entertainment.
