Fiennes, who is said to be playing an agent named Gareth Mallory, is pictured wearing a suit and pointing a gun from behind what seems to be a wooden wall.
How Ralph Fiennes will look like as a "government agent" in "Skyfall" has been revealed in one of the newly released stills from the movie. The image shows the Voldemort in the "Harry Potter" film series being clad in a suit while pointing a gun from behind what looks like a wooden wall.
Fiennes remains tight-lipped about details of what character he will tackle in the 23rd James Bond film. According to IMDb, the "Wrath of the Titans" actor will star as a character named Gareth Mallory. It has been rumored that the character will replace M's position as 007's superior after an insider revealed that M will be deceased in the upcoming film.
In addition to Fiennes' first look, Columbia Pictures unveiled several new photos of Daniel Craig's Bond, as well as some other images that feature Naomie Harris' Eve, Berenice Marlohe's Severine, and Judi Dench's M.
Those new stills aside, a fresh on-set interview video has been shared online. The promotional video shows Craig discussing Bond's relationship with Severine, Javier Bardem opening up about his villainous character Raoul Silva, and Marlohe gushing about joining the high-end spy movie franchise.
Scheduled for a November 9 release in the U.S., "Skyfall" follows Bond as his loyalty to M is tested when her past comes back to haunt her. As MI6 comes under attack, the flamboyant spy must track down and destroy the threat, no matter how personal the cost. The much awaited film is directed by Sam Mendes.
