Bobbi Kristina Brown lands a recurring role on TBS' comedy series 'For Better or Worse', which will return for its second season this summer.

AceShowbiz - Bobbi Kristina Brown has been cast on "Tyler Perry's For Better or Worse". A representative for Tyler Perry has confirmed that the daughter of Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown lands a recurring role on the TBS comedy series.

Details on the 19-year-old's role are still kept under wraps, and there's still no word on when she will begin filming her part either. The show itself is slated to return for its second season in July with 35 new episodes.

In a recent interview with Oprah Winfrey for "Oprah's Next Chapter", Bobbi has expressed her desire to follow in the footsteps of her late mother. "We're gonna do the singing thing. Some acting, some dancing," the young girl shared. The role on Perry's show will mark her first foray into scripted TV.

Featuring characters which are based on Perry's movie "Why Did I Get Married?", "For Better or Worse" stars Michael Jai White, Tasha Smith, Kent Faulcon, Crystle Stewart, Kiki Haynes and Jason Olive among others. The show debuted November 2011 and averaged 2.9 million viewers in its first season, which consisted of 10 episodes.
