The producers are also in talks with Amy Poehler to star in the film about two best friends going on a road trip.

AceShowbiz - Matthew Weiner, the man behind successful drama series "Mad Men", will work with funny guys Owen Wilson and Zach Galifianakis in his first directorial feature film. "You Are Here", which script was written by Weiner himself back in early 2000s, is also considering to land Amy Poehler.

"You Are Here" is a dramedy about a weatherman (Wilson) who is dependent on a best friend (Galifianakis) for his good times. The childhood best friends go on a road trip after Galifianakis' character inherits a business and some land from his late father.

"This movie has been my passion for eight years and to see it come together with Owen and Zach and Amy is a dream come true," said Weiner. "I can't wait to get started because the movie is about everything I care about and I'm tired of reading it out loud to my friends."

The filming will begin in May in North Carolina. Gary Gilbert, Scott Hornbacher and Jordan Horowitz will produce under the Gilbert Films banner and Lionsgate will handle the international sales. "We are thrilled to finally bring this project to the screen," Gilbert said. "Matt is one of the brightest creative minds in television, and we are confident that this project will solidify the same reputation for him in the world of narrative film."
