The former '90210' actress and the 'Twilight Saga' actor are unable to look at each other when going out with two of their daughters less than two weeks after announcing their separation.
Jennie Garth and Peter Facinelli seemed to be trying hard in putting their differences aside for the sake of their daughters. The estranged couple were photographed over the weekend going out together for the first time since they officially announced their split, but they looked extremely uncomfortable around each other.
The "90210" actress and the "Twilight Saga" actor were reunited at a toy store in Sherman Oaks, California. At the time, they joined two of their daughters, 9-year-old Lola and 5-year-old Fiona, on a shopping trip. While the two kept things amicable, photos from the outing showed that the tension between them could be cut with a knife.
Standing a couple feet away from one another, Garth and Facinelli looked in opposite directions. At times, the 39-year-old actress was seen staring down at the ground and crossing her arms across her front. Her 38-year-old estranged husband also kept his arm crossed if not in the pocket of his leather jacket.
Garth and Facinelli confirmed on March 13 that they have decided to end their 11 years of marriage. "While we have decided to end our marriage, we both share the same deep love and devotion to our children," they said in a joint statement. "We remain dedicated to raising our beautiful daughters together. We ask for privacy and respect during this time."
When words came out that their split was caused by infidelity, the exes who are also parents to 14-year-old Luca were quick to rule it out. "We just want to make it very clear - there are no third parties involved," they said in another joint statement. "There are rumors out there which are completely untrue and hurtful to our family."
