He responded to Bobby Brown's sister's public claim that she witnessed him leaving Whitney's hotel room on the day she died.

AceShowbiz - Ray J continues to fight allegations about him and Whitney Houston, one of which came from Bobby Brown's sister Leolah Brown. The former sister-in-law of Whitney told Dr. Drew Pinsky on his HLN show that Ray J could have been the one who supplied the late singer with cocaine that contributed to her death on February 11.

In a statement released by his lawyer, Ray J said, "Though Leolah Brown was nowhere near the Beverly Hilton hotel on the day Whitney Houston died, [HLN's parent company] CNN proceeded to broadcast an interview with Ms. Brown in which she falsely claimed that Ray J was at the hotel and contributed to Whitney Houston's death."

Ray J emphasized the fact that Leolah has long been estranged from Whitney. "Even the most minimal inquiry with anyone actually in contact with Whitney would reveal that Leolah Brown had been out of contact with Whitney for more than a year and was nowhere near the scene on the day of her death," the statement continued.

Leolah claimed she saw Ray J leaving Whitney's hotel room in Beverly Hills with his head hidden on the day she died. "Why is he hiding his face? He's always trying to show his face when he's with Whitney. Why now? Why you trying to hide, Ray J?" she asked.

Whitney Houston died at the age of 48 in a bathtub for accidental drowning and the combined effects of atherosclerotic heart disease and cocaine.
